In January 1991 while still working for the government, I started Jeteak Press, a Maryland based sole-proprietorship that offers alternative and support writing services to businesses and individuals on a short and long-term basis. This is when I began my new professions as a moonlighting freelance writer and author. As a result, I wrote e-books, short stories, soft cover books, blog posts, web content, how-to books and user guides, brochures, direct mail, training material, fundraising material, regulations, policy, articles (Christian, general & special niche), business/management consulting, inspiration and wellness articles, and other products based on the needs of clients.

As a writer and author, my greatest joys have come from sharing my writing abilities, experiences and thoughts with others for the purpose of giving hope and encouragement to persons struggling to reach goals or live productive lives.  My overall message is………“If I and others can do it, so can you!”

My published work includes:

Six Ways To Make Money (Amazon.com 2009)

What Do Baptist Believe? (Amazon.com 2008)

Managing Rental Property (Your Information Center 2003)

Starting a Home Day Care Center (Your Information Center 2003)

Starting A Kindergarten Business (Your Information Center 2003)

Bicycling for Fun and Fitness (Your Information Center 2003)

I really love writing, working with clients and conversing with blog and book readers. My specialties include: Articles (Christian, general & special niche), blog posts, direct mail, training material, brochures, soft cover books, e-books, policy, how-to information, web content, fundraising material, user guides, business/management consulting, regulations, short stories, inspiration and wellness articles.

In my spare time, I enjoy primitive camping, riding my motorcycle, hiking and jogging through the forest with my dog, annual participation with cancer fundraising foundation, bicycling, working out in local gyms, church activities, readings, relaxing near lakes and oceans, writing on my blogs, and spending time with friends/family. RESUMETESTIMONIALSCONTACT MESAMPLE OF WORKHOME

I am a native of Brunswick, Georgia and have been writing one thing or another for over thirty-five years. In my twenties I began writing lyrics for gospel songs which I registered and sung at local churches.  At that time writing lyrics was just something I did to clear my head because the words and music would not go away until I wrote it down. I had know way of knowing…writing was a gift and would became an enjoyable profession until much later in life.

I was a federal servant for thirty years and during that time every position I held required some type of writing ability which ranged from composing business correspondence to the general public to revision of agency regulations… from developing training handouts to presentations/point papers…from creation of training manuals for trainers and staff to development of property inspection forms…from annual budget reports to statewide funding allocations…from technical guides to articles and more.
