Happy New Year_2023

The year of 2022 was a difficult year for many lower income-earners, the unemployed and retired American citizens. However, the thought of ushering in a new year, 2023 and being thankful that everyone I know (family and friends) are in good health; still living a life of independence and who I can see, talk to and occasionally visit is something I am truly grateful for. I hope you can celebrate this same blessing as you move through the month of January and the months that follows.

Yes, I too have heard complaints from many whining, politicians, and American citizens, who berates President Biden as if he created inflation, covid-19 and the pending upcoming recession is his fault which was disheartening and a deceitful lie. In case you didn’t know or don’t remember. American has dealt with inflations, recessions, and pandemics before. In fact, while President George W. Bush was in office from 2007 – 2009, we dealt with a great recession which last for 18-months and was recorded in history as the longest American recession since World War II. President Obama became president in 2008, it was under his leadership that our countries’ debts were paid down and America emerged from that recession.

I can list additional and similar events that occurred under previous presidents at which time Americans were more accepting, less vocal and/or less vicious towards fellow Americans.  As Americans, no matter our race or backgrounds. We tighten our belts, spent less, helped our neighbors, show compassion, and have re-bound from situations such as inflation, recession, pandemics, E. cola and more, because we are Americans and we stand together to support and defend every citizen weather by birth or as immigrants, as well as defend our democracy as citizens of this country.

One thing I have noticed throughout my seventy-plus-years is that my fellow American’s stuffer from short-term and selective memories – remembering only those events that benefits them. Usually, these Americans are the folks with the loud mouths or with the biggest bullhorns who always lead a parade of followers to their own demise. Such as the creation of covid-19 charade of death which caused thousands of people to die because they refused to take a covid vaccination and boosters as if vaccination requirements in America was a new type of health fad.

However, leaders that initiated this movement against covid vaccinations and boosters secretly took these vaccinations, as a result they still live while thousands of residents do not. Regretfully, research studies indicate some Americans who contracted Covid-19 developed Long-haul symptoms four weeks or more after recovering from the virus. Further studies suggest Long-Covid occurs less frequently amongst people who contracted Covid after receiving vaccinations.

The bottom line is this: It was under President Biden, Dr. Ashish Jha and Chief Medical Advisor, Anthony Fauci’s leadership that most Americans survived Covid-19. The majority of Americans who took his/her vaccinations and boosters once it became available had little to no lasting health disabilities.  In fact, I was amongst the first to get my vaccinations and boosters.

As a result, I never contracted Covid-19 or any long-haul disabilities. My health and independence are of foremost importance to me. As a result, I have always gotten the following vaccinations: Influenzae, pneumonia, shingles, tetanus. As well as once available I got two-Covid shoots and three-Boosters.

I hope you will live your best life in 2023 based on your own decisions of what is needed in your own life and passions that are important to you. With that said, march to the beat of your own drum, control your anger and distance yourself from crowds of angry people pushing one-sided agenda by its leader.
